The "Water" Diet

I've been trying to drink more water because apparently 9 times out of 10 when you body says "I'm hungry" what it's really saying is "I'm thirsty." Talk about confusing. So when you drink a lot of water that means you have to pee a lot, which means lots of running to the bathroom. I figure I'm getting a daily workout running back and forth to the bathroom.

I saw this article in a magazine that said something like drinking a cocktail per day can cut back on the chances that you'll get heart disease. Then again this article was next to a freaky ad about this fat loss vitamin with an abnormally proportioned lady.

Exercising...my mind.

Right now this is the second time I will have tried posting this. Also in the now, I just ate an entire steak. No sides of baked potato or salad...just beef.

I have been exercising my mind lately in the form of reading. I've read three books this summer -- two of those I read just this last weekend. I like to think that I'm burning calories. I'm a fast reader, so I probably burn more calories, what with the faster page turning in all. I can already tell a difference in my hand muscles, specifically in the pointer fingers.

Another note is that I've been making an effort to eat better (ignore the steak comment made above.). The other night I went out to eat Mexican and I had a vegetable quesidilla. And two margaritas. And most of Cathy's queso dip. But I did have a vegetable quesidilla.
